Project Highlights

  • Design and construction of approximately 7,300 linear feet of box culvert, laterals, inlets, and interconnections to the existing stormwater system.
  • Incorporation of “green” solutions, to the extent possible, as part of the proposed stormwater infrastructure.
  • Co-funded by the City of Tampa and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD).

Community Benefits

  • Reduced frequent flooding in residential and commercial areas of W. Cass Street, N. Rome Avenue and W. Gray Street and surrounding areas.
  • All existing potable water lines will be replaced and a new 36-inch water transmission main will be constructed.
